My daughter has struggled with anxiety and depression. Traditional school settings with bullying just were not good for her. So this year her junior year we decides to allow her to try cyber school. It was an adjustment at first but by end of year had a good routine. This was a great decision for her, with having drivers licenses she can still get out to gym and work to have social time. She can do school work when it’s best for her to complete the work. Instead of sitting in classes all day only to come home with more work, she has time to complete schoolwork in less time than traditional school. This has allowed her to put her mental health at the forefront and work on taking care of herself while still getting a high quality education.
