Don’t let summer school ruin your summer plans! Whether you’re at the beach or on a road trip, our virtual campus goes where you go.
Flex-Ed offers both Original Credit and Credit Recovery courses to ALL high school students in Pennsylvania. Our program is designed to help students get ahead for the upcoming school year or recover needed credits to stay on track towards graduation. These summer classes are asynchronous, with synchronous work sessions, and taken entirely online. Original Credit courses are offered for high school students taking a course for the first time, and Credit Recovery courses are offered for remediation. All of our courses are taught by PA certified teachers.
June 22 - July 30
Courses are asynchronous and are available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Teachers are available Monday through Thursday 10:00am – 2:00pm via phone, email, and Virtual Office for work sessions and support. During our 6 week program, students can take up to 2 credits.
Credit Recovery Courses
Credit recovery courses are designed for students who have previously taken a course but did not earn a passing grade. These courses allow students to revisit key concepts, complete required assignments, and earn the credit needed for graduation. Students work at their own pace while receiving support from certified teachers.

Original Credit Courses
Original credit courses are designed for students taking a course for the first time. These courses follow a full curriculum aligned to state standards and allow students to earn new credits toward graduation. Students complete all required coursework with guidance from PA-certified teachers.

21CCCS Students
$300/One Credit Course $150/Half Credit Course *Discounts for eligible students will be reflected in the school store. If you do not see a discount, but believe you qualify, please check with your school counselor.
Other PA High School Students
$350/One Credit Course $200/Half Credit Course
How to Enroll
Enrollment steps vary slightly depending on whether a student is currently enrolled at 21CCCS or attending another Pennsylvania high school. Current 21CCCS students can register directly through Infinite Campus, while students from other schools will complete a separate registration process and submit any required information before receiving the link to purchase courses.

Current students and parents can log into their Infinite Campus portal and purchase summer school courses from the school store tab in the lefthand menu.
Other PA High School Students
Students from other PA high schools can register through the link below. Once registration is confirmed, you will receive an email with a link to purchase your courses.
Frequently Asked Questions
Flex-Ed is open to current 21st Century Cyber Charter School students as well as students from other Pennsylvania high schools looking to earn high school credits.
Rising 9th grade students are eligible for original credit courses only.
Credit recovery courses are for students who have previously taken a course but did not pass and need to earn the credit. Original credit courses are for students taking a course for the first time to earn new credit toward graduation.
21CCCS students may use their school laptop to complete their summer school courses.
Non-21CCCS students must provide their own computer, software, and internet connection.
Students may enroll in up to 2 total credits during the summer session.
Flex-Ed is running from June 22 through July 30, 2026.
Courses are primarily asynchronous, meaning students can work on their own schedule. Optional live work sessions with PA certified teachers are available Monday through Thursday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM for additional support.
No. Students can access their coursework 24/7. However, they are expected to stay on pace and meet all deadlines throughout the program.
It is strongly recommended that students check with their school counselor or district to ensure that their completed credits will be accepted.
The deadline to register is June 24, 2026 at 3:30 PM.
No. All Flex-Ed course fees are non-refundable.
Yes. Students may drop a course until 3:30 PM, five (5) business days after registration or the course start date (whichever is later).
