At 21CCCS, your student’s educational success is the driver of the decisions behind the platforms and devices that we use every day. After all, school is where you are and the technology we provide our students allows them to attend from wherever they are.
Empowering Learning with Technology
Our students are equipped with MacBook Air laptops and iPads. Apple devices offer a seamless and intuitive user experience, allowing both students and educators to navigate applications and tools effortlessly. Additionally, Apple’s robust educational ecosystem provides a wealth of resources, including apps and software specifically designed for learning, such as Pages, Numbers, Keynote, GarageBand, and iMovie, which enhance classroom engagement. The long battery life of our MacBook Air laptops and iPads ensures that students can participate in learning activities throughout the school day without frequent recharging, while their durability and high-quality build material ensure they can withstand the daily demands of student use.
We also value the ability of Apple devices to support customized learning. Features like accessibility settings allow for adjustments tailored to the diverse needs of all learners, promoting differentiated instruction for various learning styles. This commitment ensures that our students have a positive and safe digital learning experience.
Harnessing Educational Technology: Transforming Your Learning Journey
The educational technology platforms that we use throughout our curriculum are vetted through a comprehensive evaluation for data privacy and security as well as educational value and relevance. A teacher or student can submit a request for an app, website or other digital tool to be reviewed for use within the school. The technology and curriculum departments work together to review the tool for data privacy, program-device compatibility, interoperability, and educational value. If the tool is approved, it’s then made available for student use.

MVPs: Most Visited Platforms
As a 21CCCS student, there are three main platforms that you will use on a daily basis to attend school and complete your work. Students are introduced to these platforms in our orientation course, where they learn how to access and use them in our setting.
Schoology: Your Gateway to Engaging Learning Experiences
Schoology is our Learning Management System (LMS), a software platform designed to manage, deliver, and track your courses. This is where the majority of your school work will be completed and where you will find important information about your classes, clubs and our school. Within your courses in Schoology, you will find all of your lessons and assignments and are able to easily navigate to submit your work and check your grades. We have resources for both students and parents/guardians about the school, including information and announcements for extracurricular activities (like field trips, events and clubs), the school calendar, and a messaging system to communicate with your teachers.
Students will log in to their Schoology account with their single sign-on credentials. Parents/guardians are sent an email upon enrollment with information about setting up their account and linking it with their student.
Infinite Campus: Your Student Information Hub
21CCCS utilizes Infinite Campus as our Student Information System (SIS). This platform is your go-to resource for accessing important information such as your grades, report cards, schedule, messages, and demographic details. Additionally, Infinite Campus serves as the site where you can RSVP for field trips and school events, ensuring you stay informed and engaged in your school community.
Students will log in to their Infinite Campus account using their single sign-on credentials, making access simple and convenient. For parents and guardians, an email is sent upon enrollment containing important information on how to set up their account. This ensures that both students and their families can easily stay connected to essential school information and updates.
Adobe Connect: Your Virtual Classroom for Collaboration and Learning
A video conferencing platform like Adobe Connect enables face-to-face meetings over the internet, fostering a connected learning environment. As a 21CCCS student, you will use Adobe Connect to attend live classes and meet with your teachers and academic advisors in a virtual office setting. This versatile tool includes features such as live video, interactive whiteboards, chat, polls, document sharing, and more, ensuring an interactive and engaging experience for all participants.
