21CCCS Participates in Arts Fest 2012

On Wednesday, July 10, a group of teachers from 21CCCS headed up to State College to participate in the Festival of the Arts. Mr. Galette, Mr. Benson, Mr. Egan, Mr. Michener, Ms. Shantz, Mrs. Calio and Ms. Weidenmuller packed up our vans with lots of 21CCCS gear and started the drive. We joined the Children and Youth Day on Wednesday and enjoyed hanging out with the families who came out. We had fun finger painting with everyone too!

We set up our tent at the intersection of Allen Street and College Avenue for the remainder of the festival and had the chance to meet with a lot of families. It was a great opportunity to inform families about cyber charter schools and the choice they have in their education. We had some really interesting conversations while sharing all of the fabulous parts of 21CCCS!

We especially loved seeing some current students and alumni who stopped by to check in with us during the week! We’re looking forward to returning next year to see even more of our wonderful 21CCCS students and continue to recruit new ones!
