Our Technical Support Department is available from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. They can be reached through phone, email, or in the Technology Virtual Office (VO) to troubleshoot any tech issues students may have with their computers, printers, and Internet access. Tech support often uses remote management software to solve most computer issues quickly. When a problem cannot be quickly solved, the next step is to send out a replacement computer. Finally, in addition to troubleshooting, the department works with students to teach them skills to use the computer efficiently and to its full potential.

It is important to note that our teachers work with the same computers (hardware and software) that our students do. This makes them well versed in assisting students as they adjust to their new computers. We choose to operate with MacBook and MacBook Pro computers because they are not vulnerable to viruses, Trojans, or Spyware. Further, all school-issued computers have content filtering software, based on grade level appropriateness.
All regularly issued computers are approximately three years old or newer and are leased for $1 to allow for insurance coverage, if desired. Reimbursement is also allowed for home Internet for up to $75 per month. Forms must be submitted monthly to receive this service. The reimbursement form is available HERE.
